The quickest way to create a milestone is to add a task with no duration to your project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to Project (project.microsoft.com) and select Timeline<\/strong>.\"Add<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select + Add new task<\/strong>, and then type a task name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Hover over the task name and select the Open details<\/strong> icon.\"Open<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Type 0 in the Duration <\/strong>field, and then select Add dependency<\/strong>.\"Add<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. The milestone symbol \"Milestone\" is now part of your timeline.\"Milestone<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
