How to Assign the Windows Company Portal Via Intune<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

To manage devices and install apps, your users can optionally use the Company Portal app. You can assign the Windows Company Portal app directly from Intune using\u00a0Microsoft Store app (new)<\/a>\u00a0apps.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can choose to install the Company Portal<\/strong> app using the steps below. The Company Portal app will be installed in device context (also known as system-context) when assigned to the Autopilot group and will be installed on the device before the user logs in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create and Assign the Company Portal app<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Sign in to the\u202fMicrosoft Intune admin center<\/a>\u202fwith your admin account.<\/li>
  2. Select Apps<\/strong> > All apps<\/strong> > Add<\/strong>.<\/li>
  3. In Select app type<\/strong> pane, select Microsoft Store app (new)<\/strong> under the Store app<\/strong> section.<\/li>
  4. Choose Select<\/strong> at the bottom of the page to begin creating an app from the Microsoft Store.<\/li>
  5. Select Search the Microsoft Store app (new)<\/strong>.<\/li>
  6. Enter the text Company Portal<\/strong>, select Company Portal<\/strong>, then choose Select<\/strong> at the bottom of the page.<\/li>
  7. Change Install behavior<\/strong> to System<\/strong>, then select Next<\/strong>.<\/li>
  8. Select scope tags as necessary, then select Next<\/strong>.<\/li>
  9. To Assign<\/a> the Company Portal app as a required app to your selected device groups, select > Add Group<\/strong> (below Required<\/strong>) and then select a device group to assign the app. After you’ve created all the necessary assignments, select Next<\/strong>.<\/li>
  10. Review your settings and select Create<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
