For anyone looking to Forward a Subdomain to a URL these are the steps I used as of October 2023. In the example below I will Forward sub.doamin.com<\/code> to https:\/\/google.com<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Note:<\/strong> verify Cloudflare is not paused on your domain. (Overview page, lower right under \u201cAdvanced Actions\u201d)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step1 – Create DNS Record<\/strong>
Type: CNAME<\/code>
Name: sub
Target: domain.com<\/code>
Proxy status: Proxied
TTL: Auto<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step2 – Create Redirect Rule<\/strong>
Under \u201cCreate new Dynamic Redirect\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For \u201cRule name\u201d name your rule whatever you would like it named.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If\u2026: Custom filter expression
Field: Hostname
Operator: equals
Value: sub.doamin.com<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then\u2026
Type: Static
URL: https:\/\/google.com<\/code>
Status Code = 301
