This blog post will guide you to manage Microsoft Edge extensions or add-ons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s check the steps to create a policy for Fast User Switching. When you create the policy, it creates a device configuration profile. After adding your settings,&nbsp;click the cross mark at the right-hand corner to&nbsp;<strong>close the settings picker.<\/strong>&nbsp;For Example \u2013 I selected the settings below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Allow specific extensions to be installed \u2013<\/strong>&nbsp;By default, all extensions are allowed. However, if you block all extensions by setting the \u2018ExtensionInstallBlockList\u2019 policy to \u201c*,\u201d users can only install extensions defined in this policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Control which extensions cannot be installed \u2013<\/strong>&nbsp;List specific extensions that users can NOT install in Microsoft Edge. When you deploy this policy, any extensions on this list that were previously installed will be disabled, and the user won\u2019t be able to enable them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you remove an item from the list of blocked extensions, that extension is automatically re-enabled anywhere it was previously installed. Use \u201c*\u201d to block all extensions that aren\u2019t explicitly listed in the allow list. Add&nbsp;<strong>scope tags (if required)<\/strong>&nbsp;and click&nbsp;<strong>Next<\/strong>.<br>In&nbsp;<strong>Review + create<\/strong>, review your settings.
