We recommend using the latest version of the Company Portal app on your device because it contains the latest bug fixes and security updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your organization may require you to update the app on your device when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A newer version of Company Portal becomes available.<\/li><li>Your version of Company Portal is no longer supported.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If an update is required, you&#8217;ll receive a notification from Company Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"update-on-android-device\"><a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/mem\/intune\/user-help\/install-a-new-version-of-the-company-portal-app#update-on-android-device\"><\/a>Update on Android device<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Google Play Store will notify you when a new version of the Company Portal is available. You won&#8217;t see a prompt in the Company Portal app itself. Select the Google Play alert and follow the onscreen prompts to update the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"update-on-ios-device\"><a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/mem\/intune\/user-help\/install-a-new-version-of-the-company-portal-app#update-on-ios-device\"><\/a>Update on iOS device<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When a new version of Company Portal becomes available, you&#8217;ll see an&nbsp;<strong>Update<\/strong>&nbsp;option in the App Store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open the App Store and search for&nbsp;<strong>Intune<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Look for the&nbsp;<strong>Update<\/strong>&nbsp;option next to the Intune Company Portal listing. If available, tap&nbsp;<strong>Update<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Follow the onscreen prompts to install the update.<\/li><li>After you&#8217;ve installed the update, return to Company Portal &gt;&nbsp;<strong>Devices<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select the device that you&#8217;re currently using.<\/li><li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Check Status<\/strong>&nbsp;to sync your changes.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Note<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The minimum supported version of the iOS Company Portal app is v5.2205. If your users are running v5.2204 or below, they will be prompted to update the iOS Company Portal app at login.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"update-on-macos-device\"><a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/mem\/intune\/user-help\/install-a-new-version-of-the-company-portal-app#update-on-macos-device\"><\/a>Update on macOS device<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To view and install available updates on a macOS device:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open Company Portal and go to&nbsp;<strong>Help<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Check for updates<\/strong>&nbsp;and then select the available update to begin installation.<\/li><li>When the update is complete, return to Company Portal &gt;&nbsp;<strong>Devices<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select the device that you&#8217;re currently using.<\/li><li>Select&nbsp;<strong>More [&#8230;]<\/strong>&nbsp;and then choose&nbsp;<strong>Check Status<\/strong>&nbsp;to sync your device.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To turn on automatic app updates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open Company Portal and go to&nbsp;<strong>Help<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Check for updates<\/strong>.<\/li><li>On the Microsoft AutoUpdate screen, select&nbsp;<strong>Automatically download and install<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"update-on-windows-1011-device\"><a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/mem\/intune\/user-help\/install-a-new-version-of-the-company-portal-app#update-on-windows-1011-device\"><\/a>Update on Windows 10\/11 device<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To install the latest version of Company Portal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open Microsoft Store.<\/li><li>In the search bar, type&nbsp;<strong>Company Portal<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select the app to install the latest version on your device.<\/li><li>When the update is complete, return to Company Portal and select the device you&#8217;re currently using.<\/li><li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Check access<\/strong>&nbsp;to sync your device.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To turn on automatic updates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open Microsoft Store and go to&nbsp;<strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Turn on&nbsp;<strong>App updates<\/strong>.<\/li><li>To see a list of all updates and apps that are waiting to download, go to&nbsp;<strong>Downloads and updates<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizations may disable app updates.
