{"id":4197,"date":"2022-07-12T08:06:49","date_gmt":"2022-07-12T15:06:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/SUMMALAI.COM\/?p=4197"},"modified":"2022-07-12T08:06:50","modified_gmt":"2022-07-12T15:06:50","slug":"how-to-enable-shared-channels-with-external-organizations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/SUMMALAI.COM\/?p=4197","title":{"rendered":"How to Enable Shared Channels with External Organizations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>While sharing shared channels externally is enabled by default in Teams, Azure Active Directory cross-tenant access settings for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/azure\/active-directory\/external-identities\/b2b-direct-connect-overview\">B2B direct connect<\/a>&nbsp;must also be configured to share a channel externally. By default, these settings are set to block all organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can change the B2B direct connect default settings to allow all organizations. This allows users to collaborate in shared channels without your organization having to create a separate configuration for each organization that you want to collaborate with.
